KILLBOT KINDERGARTEN EUROPEAN TOUR JACKETS

If you haven't heard of these guys before, then you better clean your ears or maybe just download their EP.
Killbot Kindergartens is a Melbourne duo making some big ripples in the music industry lately, with soon to be released their new EP and European Tour, the kids Adam Sait & Youka Manuka commissioned us to design and produce a limited edition serious of jackets. They gave us a one liner brief  pretty much and away we went. Fused with SUPER 80'S INSPIRED GLAM MIX WITH K-POP OVERDOSE, the jackets have been created to represent the amazing abstract sounds and unheard beats that this duo do. Stay tune for their EP cover shoot to be scheduled later this month.

S T U D I O 61 C R É A T I F

Based in Brisbane's most cultured part of the city, the Subfusco stuido is located in a beautiful 1930's cottage in the hilly parts of West end. The space was the home of Joshua's Grandparents,Nakiye & Abdul Rusit. In the 50's they moved to Australia from Turkey, where they bought the house for their the family of 5 children. Today Nakiye and Abdul look down from above on the work Joshua and his team create in side this space. The space is a fusion of  hertiage interiors mixed with  of modern furniture.  At the front entry you walk up the stairs to be greated with a beautiful old Wernard sewing machine that Joshua's grandmother and mother use to sew on..

Jemma Baines models for Subfusco & Harpers Bazzar

The latest issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia  see's Jemma Baines in a beaitiful shoot by Luke Irons. The 60's inspired shoot sees Jemma wear some of the biggest brands in the industry which was styled by Jillian Davison .

What excites us more however is that Jemma is the face of our Spring Summer 2012 collection entitled "Elements", Shot by the infamous Thom Kerr & styled by Tanja Mrnjaus from Arc Creative, Jemma was selected by the team as we knew that she was going to become a big name in the modeling industry. Thom has a very particular eye when scooping the next big model, just like he did with Codie Young before she graced the covers & pages of many International magazines. Its such a pleasure working with people like Thom as we both are always looking towards the future and pushing the boundaries of our fashion worlds.

Matt StewArt Exhibition

This is a special post today, I wish I was doing it on friday, but thursday night was such a big night, it took us a few days to return to reality. The reason for this was Thursday night was the opening of Matt StewArt's exhibition at a basement style space in Tenerife.

The night had such a stimulating environment with the exhibition setting a mood similar to a NYC art show, with some of Brisbane's finest people, media & VIP's, many enjoyed the evenings proceedings & for Matt a great night of success from putting the event on, to selling some of his key pieces.

For those who could not make it, look out for more images at www.mattstewart,tv

Today is the last day of his exhibition, so jump on down to check it out.
Corner of Arthur & Commercial road, Tenerife.
